Hi Everyone!

I have a question for you all: what do you think of me getting a tattoo?  I'm thinking about it seriously, and I just can't make a final decision about it.  It would be a treble clef on the right side of my lower back (if you are looking at my back).  Yep..  I keep thinking about it and I think that I want one, but I was just wondering what you all thought about it.

Everything else is really the same ole, same ole.  I booked my flight back to GDub.  I'm flying out on the 21st of August. I'm going to be landing at Dulles around 5:05pm, if anyone reading this in DC with a large car - or with a friend with a large car! - wants to pick me UP!  <hint hint>  I also booked my flight back home on the 17th of August because I'm driving with Andrew down to LA, so he doesn't have to drive all by himself.  I'm also planning on seeing Virginia's apartment! WOO HOO!  I'm pretty excited about that, even though I feel a little bad that I'll be ditching Andrew.  *shrug*  I think that it will be okay.

But, yeah.  I cannot WAIT to get back home to DC.  The worst part is going to be when my mommy starts crying that I'm leaving.  I hate that part.  I always want to make her feel better and stay with her, but I have to go eventually!  It makes me sooo sad to see her cry that I almost start crying.  That moment is SO bad. But I'll be excited to see Miss Kathy and 'Stiners and Veronica (except for the whole "there is no room in our closet for your stuff" thing) that I think I'll be okay.  I'm going to have to call my mom every day for awhile, though, because I know I'll miss hanging out with her (my mom is awesome, ok?).

Anyway, that's really all I have to say.  See y'all later!

Wow. Long time, no write. I guess I've been too busy doing nothing to write in my xanga.  That nothing is pretty time-consuming, you know.

I went to Monterey on Wednesday.  That was really nice because, although I hate driving there, I love the city.  It's soooo pretty and the office is in such a nice location.  The only sucky part is that the window doesn't face the pretty street, it faces the private parking lot.  Yay.  But yeah, I went down to help Tiffany (one of our appraisers) with her reports because she was getting a little behind.  I was going to go to Rocky Mountai Chocolate Factory and get a Apple Pie carmel apple (they are sooooooo fantastic. It's white chocolate, carmel, and cinnamon), but I decided that I would try to resist.  However, on the way back home I stopped at a little street market to buy some fresh artichokes for my family, and I ended up buying chocolate covered raisins.  Man, they were sooooo good.  None of them were gross (which happens sometimes in the boxed kind) and they were all soooooo yummY!!  It was sooo fantastic and I was eating them all the way home. I had to tie a knot in the bag, so I wouldn't be tempted to try to untie the bag while I was driving.

I saw three movies this weekend.  I saw King Arthur (which was good, but Kyra Knightly's character was seriously weird.  She was dying and then suddenly she was an archer. Talk about inconsistant), 50 First Dates (which was a lot cuter than I thought it would be.  I actually really liked it), and The Perfect Score (that movie about stealing the SAT answers.  It ws the breakfast club revisited poorly).  I wasted so much of my life!! But that's ok, it was fun.  I watched 50 First Dates with Virginia, her Alpha Phi roommate Jess - who wasn't very exciting, let me tell you - and Andrew.  The only cool thing that came out of that encounter was that we traded shirts! I was really excited because now I have an Alpha Phi USC shirt.  She was apparently a little apprehensive because she had never heard of that before, which I thought was strange, but maybe USC girls are so rich that they can just buy shirts from other chapters (or so stuck up that they think that only stuff from their chapter is good enough).  But I really like the shirt and it's really cute on me (I think!!).

Yeah.  I think that that is all the exciting things that happened to me.  Apparently, nothing! ehhehehe.  Anyway, I'll talk to y'all later.

p.s. I'm still obsessed with my Neopet!! heheheh!

I did the coolest thing yesterday. I think I previewed it in my other Xanga, but now I'm going to talk about it because it was so frigging awesome.

Yesterday I went to the Santa Clara International Swim Center to watch sychronized swimming. The club is the Santa Clara Aquamaids and their club team has won 12 national championships in a row. Their junior team is the current junior national champions and they have A and B teams in every age group. The announcer would announce what they won before they performed and the B teams won silver in every single thing only because the A teams won gold in everything. It was frigging impressive, if you ask me. They even had some guy sychronized swimmers, and they were frigging cool. They had this one guy that did like pairs skating, but pairs sychro.. it was awesome.

But anyway. The reason that they had this show was because 8 out of the 10 USA Olympic Sychronized Swimming Team was from this club and they were going to perform one last time before they went to Athens. All the other teams performed, too: the little kids; the medium kids; the national teams; the duets; the duet representing The Netherlands; that cool guy; and this one dancer guy that did duets with the guy sychro swimmer - that was pretty awesome - on land. The dancer guy could jump like 5 feet in the air, at least. I was so impressed.

Anyway, the Olympic team did both their technical program and their free program (this is seriously like ice skating). It was amazing. Their were legs flying and people flying out of the water at all angles. Their were feet coming out of heads and arms coming out of legs, or so it seemed. It looked like SOOOO much fun. They said that it takes 2 years from when one starts swimming to the time when they could even try some of this crazy stuff. I was not surprised, let me tell you. I was so amazed. I should has been a freakin' sychronized - did you ever notice that it is kinda difficult to type sychronized? - swimmer!

Really, though, that was the most interesting thing that happened to me. It was just so cool that I had to tell y'all about it. So, that's it!! Ta ta.

I went to the VW Service place today. Can you believe that it cost $63 just to fix the turn signal plastic casing? And that I have to take me car into the service center every single time I need to replace a headlight because if I screw up and break something, the whole mechanism has to be replaced and that'll run me like $700!?!?

Speaking of $700, to fix my bumper will be $250-$300 without paint or labor of anything like that. That is just how much the bumper costs. Looks like I won't be fixing that any time soon. I'm far to poor for that. I still can't believe that it costs so much. Damn. I'm sure glad that I'm not paying for everything myself yet; I can't even fathom how much everything costs.

My brother finally cut his stupid mohawk off. Thank Goodness. Too bad that all of his friends are like, "BRIAN! We miss the mohawk!" I think he looked downright ridiculous. He's such a dork. He also shaved. Another thank goodness. I mean, he actually looks nice now. It's really amazing.

Tomorrow I'm going to go see some synchonized swimming. Sounds like it sucks, but it is soooo interesting. You really can't get a feel for how amazing it really is until you try it. It is SO hard. The have to hold their breath FOREVER and it takes sooo many muscles to hold yourself that still. I'm impressed just thinking about it. Anyway, my mom's friend's daughter is going to the Olympics in Synchonized Swimming, so we are going to go watch her team's last performance before she's off to Athens. Pretty cool, right? Ok. Well, I think that it is cool.

I'm getting a little obsessed with my Neopet. I go online and play stupid games all day long, just so it can go to school so it won't be such a friggin' whimp. Speaking of, if anyone wants a pet, they really need to tell me because I get NeoPet money if I refer yOU! hewheheheh. But really, it's getting to the point where it is downright sad. I play all these stupid kid games all day and I SUCK so badly at them. It makes me feel even worse because I know that somewhere out there, there are at least hundreds of 9 year olds that could kick my ass in these games any day of the week. I feel so inadequate about it!!

But yeah, that's it. I'll see y'all tomorrow.

Lemme see.

Can I tell you that there are some serious issues going on within the 301? I'm really distraught because that place is my HOME and I love to be there and hang out and it's like a haven for me. HOWEVER! Things are going on so that this cocoon of wonderfulness might expire. There are serious conflicts going on between my roomies. They are basically arguing because they refuse to speak to one another about the problems and would rather just let it be. As I'm trying to intervene from afar so that everyone doesn't end up hating one another, my roommate gets mad at me!!! What the blazes is that? Anyway, I'm worried about it. I was talking to Andrew's cousin (who has just turned 15) and she was like, DUDE! It sounds like high school only about a house instead of a boy. And man, is that true. It's just like high school. They only give each other mean notes. Gosh. I hope that this is all solvable.

Yesterday, Andrew and I went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and met his cousins there. That was pretty darned fun. We hung out, played volleyball, and went on rides. We went on my favorite one where you shoot the ghost and it keeps score, and I completely beat Andrew 1380 to 540! It was so fun. And then we went on the carousel and I actually got a ring in the clown's mouth! Ok. That would sound weird if you didn't know what I was talking about. Basically, there is this carousel. If you are on the outside, there are rings that are dispensed in one spot, so you get one every time you go round. Then, there is a big clown poster thing. The point is to throw the little rings and get them in the clown's mouth. Yesterday was the first time that I had ever successfully completed this task. I was so excited I almost jumped off the horse! hehehhe.

My friend Ben Wu from high school has found me recently through the Xanga. I'm kinda excited because I was thinking back on all my high school memories. I remember that my friend Mina and I made him a Build-A-Bear for his birthday and we made the voice say, "Hi. I'm Candie and I'm Ben's teddy bear" in this really sultry voice. That was soooo hilarious. I also remember when he was the Tin Man in The Wiz and he had to learn how to tap dance. That was great, too. I dunno. I was just having a really good time remembering how great friends are, even if you haven't seen them in forever. It was just nice to think about him and all the fun things we did with Mina and other friends. That was cool.

But anyway!!! I think that there is absolutely nothing else of interest to say besides that my team (the Giants in case anyone doesn't know) is totally beating itself with its horrible bullpen pitching tonight, and I'm kinda depressed about it. Ok. I'm going to go to sleep because I'm beyond tired. Goodnight. We better win or I'll be pissed. We were up 6-1 in the 8th.
